It had many attractions. A scenic railway, a merry-go-round, airship swings, and slides to name a few. Row boats were for rent on the lake.
There was a shooting gallery, a photo gallery, and refreshment stands.
F.T. Britton of Phila. ran the Rolling Ball Game, the Original Ball Game, and the Merry Widow Game where a hat was to be thrown on the "Widow's" head (a statue).
The open air dance pavilion held dances on Wednesday and Saturday nights. An open air theatre showed movies and vaudeville. And of course, a large picnic grounds.
Woodlynne Park boasted of having a grove of rare trees, brought in from "every country in the world."
The Wilson Line ferrys along the Delaware River brought people to the park from Philadelphia and other towns along the river.
The park closed after 1914, due to financial problems.
