It opened in 1880 as a trolley park. It was built at the end of the Frankford Ave. trolley line at the Phila. city limits with Bensalem.
The park was located on the east side of Frankford Ave. (Rte. 13) at its intersection with Knights Rd. This is in a section of Phila. known as Morrell Park.
There is absolutely nothing left of the park now. Long ago, it was replaced with a neighborhood of houses and a 7-11 convenience store. The trolley turnaround area is still there, but is now used for the buses that replaced the trolleys.
